PRE-REGISTRATION DEPOSITS NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR CJCI CONVENTION 2020

You want a Rhode Island convention in the fall of 2020, and we’re trying to make that happen!

How can you help?

Between now and June 30, 2019, spread the word to all your jewelry-loving friends. Tell them if we get at least 50 people to place a $100 deposit toward a convention in Rhode Island to be held next year, we can move forward with planning the event.

Pre-Registration Deposits will:

  • Allow us to gauge interest in the event so that we can decide if planning a convention is feasible based on early demand;
  • Provide support for a venue deposit and other necessary expenses if we determine that we can move forward;
  • Pay the first $100 toward the event fee for attendees if a convention is ultimately held in 2020.

To make your deposit, use the PayPal “BUY NOW” button below (preferred method):

Or, mail your check for $100 payable to CJCI to:

CJCI
P.O. Box 446
Benicia, CA 94510

Check deposits will be held uncashed until we meet our goal. In the event that we do not meet our goal, they will either be returned to you or shredded with your permission.

PLEASE NOTE REGARDING YOUR DEPOSIT:

Refundable – In the event that we determine it is not feasible to hold the event in 2020, all those making a deposit will have the option of receiving a refund or donating their deposit to the CJCI Education Fund after our announcement in early July.

Non-refundable – If we do move forward with planning after the June 30, 2019 deadline and sign a contract with a venue, the deposit will not be refundable even if the payee cannot attend in 2020. We will need these funds to mitigate our exposure to venue fees should we have to cancel the convention or have a low turnout for the event.
