Learn about how the costume jewelry industry has evolved since the late 1970s and hear about some of Mr. Brannan’s accomplishments and noteworthy experiences in the business. He will also talk about his collection of Trifari jewelry, and how working in the business has gone hand in hand with his journey as a collector.

Eve TownsendJoin Eve Townsend, co-author and researcher of Schreiner, as she shares the rich history of one of North America’s foremost designers of high-end costume jewelry. Experience never-before-seen photographs and personal recollections from the private archives of the Schreiner family, Eve’s talk will open a sparkling window to the fashion world of New York City from the 1930s through the 70s, and onto one of its most famous “unknown” jewelry designers. With original research by Eve Townsend and a richly curated display of jewelry from the world-renowned Carole Tanenbaum Vintage Collection, this unique collaboration and talk presents a layered look at the history and legacy of the Schreiner Jewelry Company.
