SATURDAY NIGHT GALA – 1940S BIG BAND GLAM

At our 2012 convention we held a nostalgic Saturday evening event highlighting the glamour and patriotism of the 1940s. The convention attendees  enjoyed a mini-concert by Katerina Musetti featuring 1940s favorites and a 1940s fashion and jewelry presentation by Rhinestone Rosie. You can bet there were many attendees dressed for the occasion in 1940s jewelry and attire!

We conducted a silent auction Saturday evening to raise funds for the recently announced CJCI Education Fund. One of the items that was up for bid was an extremely special donation by renowned jewelry designer Katerina Musetti. The one-of-a-kind "Kismet" demi-parure, inspired by the 1940s film, will NEVER be made again. To view this phenomenal set click here.
