We have great news for our CJCI community!
Ruby Lane, a premier selling site for vintage costume jewelry, is hosting Costume Jewelry Collectors Int’l October Show & Sale the weekend of Oct. 16-18, 2020! We greatly appreciate the effort of RubyLane.com as they continue to show their support for jewelry sellers, shows, and related events worldwide.
We’re also pleased to announce that this is a “fun-raiser” for CJCI. Yes, 100% of the proceeds for “booth” fees for this event will directly benefit the CJCI Education Fund.
When items sell from a booth during the show, Ruby Lane will deduct a 7.7% fee (a small portion of which will benefit CJCI’s operating budget) and the rest of the proceeds go to the seller.
You can sell online and feel good knowing that your participation in this event is helping to keep resources provided by CJCI’s website, including the Researching Costume Jewelry Marks Guide, online free of charge for years to come.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE AS A SHOW DEALER
You DO NOT need to be a current Ruby Lane seller to participate.
From now through Oct. 10, or until all booths are taken, you can learn more and sign up as an online show seller for the event by clicking here:
After following the link above, read through the information and click on the red “REGISTER TO PARTICIPATE!” button to set up your show space. CJCI will contact you with additional tips and suggestions for success after you register.
Please note, the vendor agreement you will see when you follow the link above shows a list of items that can be sold in shops on the platform. Vintage and highly collectible costume jewelry will be the sole focus of the CJCI online show.
Additional quick facts about selling during this event:
- A limited number of booths will be available to sellers at the discretion of CJCI. Booth fees are considered contributions (not tax deductible) to the CJCI Education Fund and are not refundable if you sign up and are then unable to participate.
- All items included in the event will be vetted by CJCI’s curation team to ensure a high-quality online show.
- Should you decide to become a Ruby Lane dealer after the show, your booth can quite easily be converted into a shop. There is no obligation to do this, but it is an option Ruby Lane is pleased to offer you.
Thank you for your interest, if you have questions before signing up, please email Pamela Wiggins Siegel at [email protected] co (not .com). If you have questions about using Ruby Lane’s tools during or after registration, please email Alex Gardner at [email protected] com.
