“The Masked Ball” About this set:

Katerina’s inspiration for this parure came from the opera Un Ballo in Maschera (The Masked Ball) by Giuseppe Verdi—visualizing  Amelia  wearing this set in a contemporary version of the opera.
 

The jewelry is all hand-forged metal work, including the collar and hand-manipulated wire work with accents of autumn leaves. Its multidimensional construction with floating wire over elements holds segments of rhinestones that match the bottom panel and upper rhinestone-laden collar and create a multilayer effect.
 
The stones within are a mix of autumn colors: Vintage Swarovski Hyacinth, Olivine, Jonquil, Hyacinth AB, Sun and Vitrail dark rhinestones with rare Cathedral and Indian Red rivolis.
